Studying At Home
Studying at home.....
You are probably thinking this is the usual parental sort of advice on how to study, and why is it important.
But, you're wrong. This is an affable message from a teen who is studying at home, worried about her upcoming exams with an upset routine.
There you go, we're all stuck in the same dilemma. Our parents are concerned about our future and constantly reminding us of our educational needs. While we kids are not prepared. Now there are probably some reasons for our lack of concentration and attention towards learning but let's not look at the problem, instead bring your attention to the solution.
Is Education important?
Education is important. No doubt, it is a ladder we need to climb in order to succeed in the future. The reason our parents constantly remind us about the study is that they care about us and our destiny. I know, we kids get mad about it sometimes but they're right. We should clearly get those meme explanations out of our heads of why our parents want us to get good grades to do better in school, is not because they want to brag about it, or because of the famous phrase used in desi memes; 'What will people say?'. Also, many people have spoken about online classes being trash and a waste of time. Online classes aren't bad and waste unless you don't learn anything from it.But then again, getting bored and frustrated while studying is normal and a piece of cake. Except, you can appreciate the time you spend on intellectual learning. Yes, I'm not kidding.
Make Studying fun
How can learning be fun? Honestly, school-going kids don't understand the meaning of 'Fun and Learn'. The first thought that comes to our mind when we think about 'Fun and Learns' is, that a child can't learn anything while having fun. This mentality is baseless, since every child in its growing age, learns most when enjoying. Considering, all kids are at home due to the global Pandemic, we all need to keep our minds functioning so that we can study at home. Having fun while studying does not decipher into a lack of concentration and attention. Concentration is mandatory for learning.
Here are a few tips for developing concentration:
1. Examine how many hours does your level of concentration lasts, take breaks in between, lasting 5-10 minutes to relax your mind.
2.Study your least favourite subject first and keep the most favourite one for the latter.
3. Have a refreshment if needed, juice, milkshake etc.
4. If you don't want to study for long hours, practice some vocabulary, idioms, rules etc.

Healthy food such as fruits, vegetables and meat can boost up your mood as well. Although junk food can be as much as dangerous, it is better to avoid it.

Though, it's quite fascinating that you can also gain knowledge and information from watching explanatory series or documentaries. Shows that are based on historical events, or the ones highlighting the problem of racism in this era. Any nature or agricultural-based documentary. Or you can watch MasterChef if you like to cook.
5. Bilingual: Learn a new language! Anything new is always pleasurable and entertaining.

7. Are you a Night Owl too?: Sleep, is the most important thing in our lives. Yet we sacrifice it for many less worthy things. I won't debate on sleep too much, because I, myself do not sleep on time. Still, we need to make effort and develop a healthful sleeping routine. It also plays a big role in the growth of our health, mentally, internally and physically.
8. Family bonding: Spend quality time with your family. Talk with them, play with your siblings. A family bond is the most precious bond you can have. Do different activities that involve your loved ones too. Binge watch series together. Cook together and lastly, Live happily together. You might have to compromise sometimes, but it will only benefit you in the long run.
9. Have you ever tried this?: There are many activities for you to try out, many skills for you to learn. All mentioned above aren't the only options. You can master new skills, such as Knitting, sewing, drawing, painting etc. And all these have many more branches attached so you never run out of choices. The time you spend on your mobile and get told off (story of every teen's life), you can use your mobile to watch enlightening and descriptive videos or read books or blogs etc. So that you benefit from the time you spend on your mobile as well.
I really hope these tips help you out, and don't forget, positivity helps you to keep running on the road of your life and encourages you to reach your goal.
