Book reading has always been my getaway from the real world. However, it is not possible to have an interesting book to read every time. I was desperate to read an alluring story that could satisfy my desire, when my friend suggested that i should consider wattpad. Reluctantly i downloaded the app and searched for a decent story book. The first cover that caught my attention was written by Shadia N. No doubt, her books are fascinating. Though the primary subject of her books is romance, she highlights the spiritual affairs and portrays the story pleasantly, making sure not to endorse any haram act. Reading her books gives congenial sensibility. Her books have a balanced magnitude of both Deen (Religion) and Dunya (world). The book we are about to discuss is filled with mystery and humour.

Today i will review the book called 'The Hushed Confessions'

Meet the characters:

Sajdaa Taha and Malik Idrees are two opposites with delightful personas. Both have been through difficult stages in life but with contrary visions. Sajdaa is a charming young teen with a strong faith in Allah and a fascinating sense of humour and sarcasm. Malik Idress is a handsome, tough guy in his early twenties who is determined to focus on his job as a police officer. As Malik's past remains concealed and unknown, tragedy struck Sajdaa's household, marking Sajdaa the main victim. 

The mysterious journey began: (summary and lessons)

Sajdaa decides to unsolve the mystery with her intelligence and courage. Coincidentally, Malik Idrees is assigned to take the case of a teenage Muslim girl. That fateful day both exceptional humans meet each other in not a pleasant way. Despite the differences, Sajdaa and Malik are resolute on accomplishing their goals. 

In the entire journey of ups and downs, luck and misfortune they reflect on their relationship with Allah and learn the importance of the spiritual relation with God himself. Romance blooms within which opens more doors of hope and possibilities in life. The story has many twists and turns to keep the thrill alive.

Between this phenomenal ride, both the characters and the readers understand the following message.

• The importance of the spiritual connection with Allah
• Stereotypes and racism against muslims in America
• Your past does not defines you
• Family matters the most
• Romance and Love is not haram (if you keep it halal)

Little Ending Note: 

The author has wrote the book perfectly. The thrill, mystery and romance have their own enchantment. The words enfold you in such a way, it is impossible not to read the rest. Hushed Confessions is filled with many morals and lessons which i was unaware of in the past. The Best Thriller i have read so far. 

Crime, bloodshed, desires, intelligence and love are the main words to describe the adventure. The development of the characters is immensely remarkable. Resembles the real and actual circumstances, which makes the story more attractive and exceptional. On the top i would like to say, i was fortunate to read this book because several books do not depict Islamic laws as they are. But Shadia has kept the laws and commandments of her religion in her mind while writing this Masterpiece. Any mystery lover would be grateful to have find this book. For the last few words, i would say you should give it a read. This story, in my opinion has not got the recognition it deserves. So go on wattpad and give it a look. Maybe you'll like it?💜
