An Underdog?

Underdog;
Meaning: a person who is expected to lose in a contest or conflict.

Have YOU ever felt like an underdog?

Nameless, hopeless, worthless. When you’re striving for a change but nothing happens. When you feel like a loser who has lost everything, a failure in life. And then, you get overwhelmed, out of control, frustrated, devastated and you think of giving up because it's the only choice left. It is a universal reaction from every human being, of getting overwhelmed whenever it faces a calamity.

When you want somebody to talk to but no one understands your pain, your struggles, and your demons. When you’re heart-broken but nobody believes. When it all seems like a dark never-ending tunnel, and the only light you have is the one candle you carry in your hands, the light of hope. Being optimistic looks futile, you are empty and it is impossible to put your thoughts into words that have explanation, for you yourself are confused about what is wrong with you.
When your dreams and goals seem like a mere fantasy. When the world you built around yourself is collapsing, your inner peace is disrupted. When you’re desperate for answers but nature wants you to wait, to have patience so you can discover your destiny but you are impatient because of the circumstances that have enfolded you.
Your life is a silent chaos, obscure to everyone but you. You fight your demons, negativity and hopelessness each day without anybody noticing. Your soul and mind are tainted with scars that can’t always be seen. Your flaws and weaknesses haunt you like an inevitable monster. And you feel like an underdog. A person incapable of changing reality, who is unworthy of success. Who is meant to be a failure in life forever. 

But that, my friend, is not true at all. You might feel that way, you might think you are useless but you are certainly mistaken. We all have flaws, we all make mistakes. We all cherish delightful memories and experience bad moments. For life is not meant to be perfect. Just like a hill with ups and downs. Failure and success is a part of our existence.
That feeling of becoming a failure never fails to frighten us to death, but if we just look into the insight of the wisdom and success that it holds, I guarantee you could be the most optimistic person in the whole wide world. If only we realize that everything is temporary, tough times don’t last long. With every hardship there is ease (94:5). These reminders keep us standing, they refrain us from making fatal decisions. 

We need to calm ourselves, and advise ourselves that every cloud has a silver lining.

Allah created this life to test us, and he sends hardships to those whom he loves the most. Because he wants them to realize how strong and powerful they are. He wants them to realize their worth because he did not create anything haphazard. Everything has its own objective and so do all of us.

We often surrender ourselves to the false whispers of Shaitan which gives us nothing other than desperateness and pessimistic thoughts. But we need to discern the life’s principles. Not every flower blooms on the same day. Your time to rise may not be now, but there is always a tomorrow. Allah will not let your efforts go in vain. You may not succeed when everybody else is celebrating their progress, but you will one day, for sure In sha Allah. Nobody is undeserving, each person has their own worth. which is priceless! One descend does not determines your value. You are more worthful, wonderful and powerful than you think you are. You are capable of reaching your goal and achieving your dreams. Never lose hope, in Allah and neither in yourself!

You are going to rise up, and you will prove your significance. You will find your destiny, your ambitions and your past will seem like a mere fantasy. Your efforts will be fruitful, and you will succeed in your life. Our job is to work towards our goal, hope the best from god and believe in ourselves.💙💫
